Back in 1988, young and extremely naïve, initiated into the family’s drainage business, Northwest Drain Maintenance, at the age of fifteen, evenings and weekends of course, I started gaining the knowledge and experience in the field of drainage.
In 2001, years later, due to the ill health of my father I reluctantly had to move away from the family business. However, remaining within the drainage industry, and still covering all areas of Liverpool, my experience in all things drainage continued to grow.
Then in 2010, office bound and settled in my new workplace based in Merseyside, I again had to reluctantly move on to pastures new. And so, the decision to start a new drainage business was made, eventually naming it “Core Independent Drainage.” The company, based in Liverpool, would have and still has all the important values expected in business.
